The members of Hermit Commandery participated in the annual Memorial Day Weekend Worship Service at the Lebanon VA held on the Sunday before Memorial Day. The Sir Knights have been participating in this service for 40+ years and are honored to do so. Commander Gerald Stephens said “we hope we can help bind the wounds of the residents of the VA that cannot be seen by the eye and let them know that they are not forgotten, but always in our thoughts and prayers for the service they have given to our country”.

Hermit Commandery enjoyed a presentation by Dawn Rueppel on a community service project by the Lebanon Quilters Guild. The PA State Police Memorial Quilts made from old PSP uniforms that are no longer being used. There are 3 different versions of the quilts that will be given to the family of Troopers that were killed in the line of duty. A truly amazing and outstanding job by the ladies of the quilters guild.
